Yiyi is a first-year Ph.D. student in Dr. Stasiewicz's lab in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She earned her B.S. in Food Science and Technology from University of California Davis, and her M.P.H. in Epidemiology from the Yale School of Public Health. Passionate about the intersection of food safety and public health, she is currently conducting research on risk assessment of Salmonella in comminuted turkey products.
