Professor Suresh Pillai is a globally recognized leader in electron beam (eBeam) and X-ray technologies, with deep expertise in molecular microbiology and industrial applications of ionizing radiation. He serves as Director of the National Center for Electron Beam Research at Texas A&M University and is a professor and senior academic leader in Food Science & Technology. A Fellow of the Institute of Food Technologists and the International Forum on Industrial Processes, and a Fulbright Specialist, Prof. Pillai advises U.S. and international agencies on the adoption of eBeam and X-ray technologies. He has led global commercialization efforts, delivered more than 200 invited presentations, and collaborated extensively with governments and industry worldwide.
