Sarah Garcia is the Director of Environmental Health and Food Safety at Chipotle Mexican Grill, where she has led the charge in maintaining world-class food safety standards since November 2021. In this role, Sarah oversees a national, field-based team of food safety professionals dedicated to in-restaurant training, compliance, and risk mitigation—ensuring operational excellence and guest safety across all locations.
In addition to her food safety responsibilities, Sarah provides strategic leadership for the company’s Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) program, driving initiatives that promote workplace safety and regulatory adherence at scale.
Prior to joining Chipotle, Sarah held leadership roles in large-scale organizations across the retail, food distribution, and convenience store sectors, where she developed deep expertise in food safety, regulatory compliance, and operations.
