Samantha Harris is a Senior Food Safety Manager at H-E-B who specializes in retail food safety and upstream corporate program development. She supports the Retail Environmental Swabbing Program and Allergen Awareness Program for H-E-B, covering 300+ stores across Texas. Prior to joining H-E-B in 2018, Samantha served as a Research Scientist at FSNS where she specialized in microbiological challenge studies, validation work, and shelf-life testing. She earned a B.S. and M.S. in Food Science and Technology from Texas Tech University. Outside of work, Samantha finds joy in mountain biking and bay fishing with her family.
