Field Director, Food Safety
Nick Waters is a Field Director for Sysco where he is responsible for contributing and evolving Sysco’s food safety programs. He has direct food safety oversight for numerous Operating Sites that range from distribution to fresh cut produce. His recent focus is to enhance Sysco’s developed end to end cold chain program. He also works closely with Sysco’s Supply Chain department on new initiatives that differentiate Sysco. Prior to this, Nick held various Food Safety and Quality Assurance roles in industry and served honorably in the United States Army. He received his undergraduate degree in Food Science and Nutrition from the Metropolitan State University of Denver.
