Karen McCarty recently retired from Agropur, where she served as Senior Director of Commercial Quality Assurance. In this role, she led a global team dedicated to ensuring that food safety and quality assurance were seamlessly integrated into the customer experience, reinforcing trust and excellence across the organization.

Karen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Over the course of her career, she built deep expertise in food safety and quality through key roles with Deibel Laboratories and Davisco Foods International.

Following her retirement, Karen will continue to contribute her knowledge and passion to the industry through volunteer work with the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy. She remains committed to advancing food safety and quality initiatives and is enthusiastic about representing and supporting the dairy industry in this new capacity.
