Her focus over the past 10 years has been in meat quality. She is currently with Deli Star, Inc., a ready-to-eat protein manufacturer in St. Louis, Missouri, specializing in fresh, never-frozen deli logs, sous vide products, and diced and shredded proteins for foodservice applications. She is passionate about ensuring everyone has access to safe, quality food and about using FSQA data to drive continuous improvement. She has a B.A. in Chemistry from Scripps College and resides in St. Louis, Missouri with her husband and two sons.
