Deanna Elizabeth Copeland graduated with a BS from the University of Southern Colorado and has been working in Food Safety with Harris County for over 22 years. She spent 15 years as a field inspector and plan reviewer before transitioning through the ranks to her current position as Manager of Food & Neighborhood Nuisance Programs. In her current role, she oversees the Food Safety Program that regulates over 9000 food establishments in Harris County as well as program alignment with the FDA VNRFRPS, multiple process improvement projects, educational events, grants, and serves on boards, councils, and committees for TEHA, MCAFDO, & CFP.
