David Gardner has been with Bread Alone Bakery for just about nine years, where he has cultivated a deep commitment to food safety and continuous improvement in quality systems. He began his career in sanitation and quickly advanced to managing the department, where his passion for food safety first took root. This drive led him to pursue HACCP certification and become one of Bread Alone’s SQF practitioners. Since 2021, David has served as the Food Safety and Quality Manager, leading the company’s food safety initiatives and compliance efforts. He is a strong proponent of behavior-based food safety management and champions a proactive food safety culture built on an educated and empowered team. David believes that robust food safety programs are foundational to consumer trust and are essential for delivering safe, high-quality products throughout the supply chain.
