David Clifford serves as Director of Food Safety for Nestlé USA, providing strategic leadership across operational food safety, compliance, hygiene, and thermal processing. With a 37-year tenure at Nestlé, he has held diverse technical and operational roles in the U.S. and abroad. A globally recognized subject matter expert in HACCP, food allergens, Listeria control, and food safety risk assessment, David holds a BS in Microbiology from The Ohio State University and an MBA. He contributes to the advancement of industry standards through active engagement in leading organizations including GFSI, FARRP, STOP Foodborne Illness,IAFP, PFSE, IFSH, and FMI.
