Country Fresh--a Houston, TX food producer--has recalled 30,000 cases of fresh cut vegetables and other products like pico de gallo that are sold at big name retailers. The food items are possibly contaminated with Listeria.
Specifically, affected products include diced onions and peppers, stuffed mushrooms, and vegetables meant for grilling and stir frying. The recall was prompted after the Georgia Department of Agriculture found a Listeria-contaminated product in a retail store during a routine sample test.
