FDA Launches Training Videos to Facilitate Electronic Submissions to Office of Food Additive Safety
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) today launched a series of training videos to help food industry professionals prepare electronic submissions to the Office of Food Additive Safety (OFAS). The training videos complement the agency’s 2010 draft guidance on electronic submissions.
FDA is encouraging the use of electronic submissions because they offer advantages to both stakeholders and the agency. For OFAS, electronic submissions facilitate the review of the safety of food ingredients and packaging.
