FDA to Hold Public Meetings for Proposed FSMA Rules
The two recently issued proposed Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) rules, Current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Risk-Based Preventive Controls for Human Food and Standards for the Growing, Harvesting, Packing, and Holding of Produce for Human Consumption, are to be the topics of public meetings scheduled by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The meetings are planned for February 28, 2013 from 8:30 am–5:00 pm, and March 1, 2013 from 8:30 am–12:00 pm, at the Jefferson Auditorium of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, 14th and Independence Avenue, SW, Wing 5 Entrance, Washington, DC.
