Dr. Stanley Osuagwu is the vice president of Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) for Home Chef. A wholly-owned Kroger E-commerce subsidiary. In this capacity, Dr. Stan leads Home Chef’s Food Safety and Quality Assurance initiatives and functions, by defining the organization’s FSQA compliance strategies enterprise-wide.

Before joining Home Chef, Dr. Stan was the head of FSQA for Amazon Private Brands Foods Operation. Where his responsibilities included providing strategic leadership and subject matter expertise for FSQA to Amazon retail business teams, just-walk-out e-commerce channels, global operations leadership, 1300+ ingredient suppliers, 30 co-packing operations, and Whole Foods Market.

Dr, Stan worked for other Fortune 500 food production organizations such as Hormel Foods, Farmer John/Smithfield Foods and McDonald’s, in various leadership capacities. Dr. Stan’s industry experiences and leadership responsibilities in the industry includes Operations Manager, Plant QA Manager, Director of FSQA & Technical Services, and as Global FSQA Corporate Leader for Proteins. In addition, he owns and operates a small business as a real estate investor in multiple states that includes, Georgia, Minnesota and Washington.

Dr. Stan is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with degrees in Economics and Statistics. He attended graduate school at Mercer University, for his MBA. Then earned a Doctorate of Engineering degree in Systems Engineering Management, with a focus in Food Engineering at The George Washington University.
