Joetta DeFrancesco is the Retail Program Standards Coordinator for the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA). After spending 20 years in Hospitality Management, she worked with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Food Safety, performing a variety of inspections at all sizes of both retail and manufacturing facilities. Joetta has been FDA Standardized and while serving as the Environmental Manager for Quality Assurance and Training, she oversaw the training and certification of the department’s Retail Food Safety inspection staff.

Ms. DeFrancesco holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and has taught both lab and lecture classes in collegiate settings, as well as written training curriculum for culinary, food safety, and food service management programs. In her free time she enjoys gardening, camping and trying new hobbies.
